Macy Blake has spit shined her first series from 2012, which was written under a different pen name, and has re-released it to us! Whoop! Whoop!
If you are a fan of the Hellhounds and The Chosen One, I highly recommend you give Mind Magic, the first book of The Triad of Magic series a shot!
A young mage apprentice, Simon can’t quiet the cries of children in his head. He knows these young ones are in serious danger, but mages never help the Others. These cries are from shifter cubs. Siding them goes against their training and he fears he may be in trouble with his master and the conclave if he breaks protocol. But, will Simon be able to live with himself if he doesn’t act?
In true Macy Blake style the story is filled with drama, action, mystery, and fantastical lore. There are funny moments, sweet moments, romantic moments, and HAWT damn moments! Moments where you never think the “bad guy” is gonna “get his” so you wanna jump in the book and help out. There is magic (obviously since I just explained about Simon being a mage), wolf shifters, vampires, and even demons! The gang’s all here!😂
Again, this is book one of a trilogy, and while it ended nicely, it had more of an HFN, like Blake’s other series. So there are still things to be done, questions to answer, more villains to un-cloak (de-cloak? de-frock? Ohhh kinky!!! JK), and innocents to help. So excited I could tinkle! 💕
Forget the shovel, I dug this so much I needed a back-hoe! 😂😂😂😂
