Zombie Coming
by Z. Allora
The Blurb: Zombies suck—but they’re not after brains! These zombies are young, hot, and looking for their mates.
Cassidy Frost, who writes everyone else’s happily ever after, has all but lost hope he’ll ever find his own. Every night he’s sucked until his jaw hurt, praying for his other half more out of habit than faith his mate is out there. Life has never been kind so he doesn’t dare hope fate will simply drop his mate into his lap.
Erick McGrath learned how cruel and short life could be when he lost his brother. Despite his parents’ toxic attitude, Erick decides to take steps in accepting his nonbinary gender identity. Going to Club Zombie’s Drag Night is his first attempt at embracing his new grasp at freedom. A stumble lands him into the arms of an angel, but he knows better than to believe in something that good.
Both of them seem to be each other’s dream come true, but Cassidy and Erick will have to take risks to have what they desire.
(Zombies Coming is part of the Club Zombie series but can be read as a standalone for a perfectly happy and satisfying ending.)
This is a sexy happily ever after with much lighthearted fun. Zombies suck… but mine swallow

MMy Thoughts and Review:
Cassidy & Erick 4.50 ✨✨✨✨•✨
This is book #3 in the Zombie Club series and I was so glad sweet Cassidy finally found their one. I think I love Cassidy so much because they were a kid of the 80’s and so I found them very relatable in things like fashion, movies and home decor, and even the AIDS/HIV scare back then. We lost so so many people we loved and even though it is still a problem today, so much has changed through medicine and education that it isn’t quite the death sentence it once was.
Anyway, Cassidy lost the majority of their friends back then, and some of that coupled with seeing all their zombie friends finding their mates and moving on and some away to have lives of their own has left them feeling abandoned.
Enter cutsie Erick! I just wanna hug this sweet young thing and never let them go. It’s that momma instinct kicking in. Erick has struggled with their identity most their life. Wearing the clothes society deems appropriate for a man make Erick feel uncomfortable almost like they are wearing someone else’s skin.
Erick and Cassidy are drawn to each other and the pull is quite strong. While Erick works on their relationship with a brother they thought was dead, but is actually a zombie with not one but THREE mates, Cassidy becomes their safe harbor during “Storm Ethan.”
This series has been so charming and funny that it is definitely one I will return to from time to time. I hope Z isn’t done just yet. We could use a few more zombies like these in our lives. 💗
I received a complimentary copy of this book from LesCourt in exchange for an honest review.🌺
