Wild Magic
by Poppy Dennison (Original Pen Name), Macy Blake
The Blurb: Joseph Anderson was heartbroken when his childhood best friend Dominick Levent moved away. Years later, Joseph is a successful real estate broker with good friends, an easy smile, and a stunning house. When he finds a dying mountain lion who miraculously shifts into Dominick’s sister, Joseph must find Dominick and reunite him with the two young sons she left behind.
When mountain lion shifter Dominick gets a call telling him his sister is dead, he rushes home to protect his nephews and avenge his sister. Seeing Joseph brings back the feelings Dominick tried to bury and he dares to hope Joseph’s newfound knowledge of shifters means they can finally be together.

MMy Thoughts and Review:
***
What a bittersweet way to tie in how the mountain lions’ pack reformed after what happened in the previous books.
In true Macy Blake style this lil novie is strong in the family, and close relationships department. The MCs Dominick/ Nicky/ Dom and Joseph/ Joey were closer than blood growing up, until one day without explanation, Nicky took his friendship and walked away leaving Joey heartbroken and confused as to what he’d done wrong.
After fifteen years, tragedy has brought the men together once more. This time Dom will have to face his fears and be honest with Joseph, but Joseph may not be able to trust anything the other man says. So, he {Dom} will just have to show him…and show him he does. 💗
I love all the links and parallels between this book and the previous ones. This story helped wrap up a few loose ends, and bring closure to incidents in book #1 and #2, it also gave an extra layer of insight and perspective regarding the epilogue from Book #3.
I am thrilled to add this lil series to my collection so I can pull it out and re-read when I need a good dose of this magical world where different shifters, vampires, mages, humans, and/ or any combination of those can find peace, and kinship among the inhabitants of High Moon Pack.
