🎧Make Me Give In – Audio Book🎧

Last Spring I had the pleasure of receiving an ARC for the ebook version of Make Me Give In, and it was one of the funniest, hottest, MM romance reads, I had read to that point.
Since then I have had the opportunity to read a few hundred (no…really!😁) more books. When an ARC of the audio version came my way I had just come out of a post audio book-gasm, thanks to the oh so decadent and smooth voice talents of Charlie David in another audio ARC, so I knew this would be Omegazing! And baby, it was all that and a bag of Alpha-chips!😋
David did each and every little nuance from the characters to ppp..pp..perfection. Even Emmett’s stammering when he discussed things of an intimate Alpha/omega nature. Nolan was ever stoic, and Tristan the bouncy fun loving ray of sunshine that made the house the guys all lived in truly a home away from home.
You could not only hear, but feel Simon, the OCC founder and fearless leader whose motto should have been, “Take my advice, since I obviously have no use for it.” The listener could sense he wanted nothing more than to make sure his friends were protected from alphas who would only use them, then take away their dreams. Those same listeners could also sense when he was full of himself and needed an ego check. 😂 Silly Simon.
Then, the alpha, Hunter, with his alpha voice, and alpha charm, and alpha looks, and alpha scent, and alpha love for Simon. Perfectly brought to life in a made for sin but taking you to heaven voice, thanks to Charlie David. **sigh…
What makes or breaks an audio book is the narrator’s ability to raise an author’s words from the page and bring them to life through their voice in the same way a musician brings music to life through an instrument. You can learn to play an instrument, but without passion behind what you are playing, the music is lifeless. Thank Gaia, Charlie David has enough passion for a 60 piece orchestra!💖
Dunno if it’s fate, or I’m just having a good 2020 so far (and it’s only January), but this is my 3rd Audio book, narrated by David, and I just reviewed a movie of his. I had never heard of him before that first ARC (I don’t come out of my Dragon lair often). He’s my new favorite hidden treasure. Arrgh!😂
