Super Spiced Omega Bundle

by Susi Hawke

Blurb:

Welcome to Hollydale, a magical town where things aren’t always as they appear.

The Hollydale Omegas is a sweet, feel good series about finding love in a small town… with a little supernatural help. This is a non-shifter, contemporary mpreg series. Settle in with a good snack before you dive into this intriguing mix of fun, friendship and family. From elves and ghosts, to cupid and leprechauns—this series will steal your heart.

This bundle contains the first five books from this best-selling series. Also included is what I consider “book five and a half”, Strawberry Spiced Omega. This bonus short is 8k and features a couple that appear peripherally in other books.

Books Included:

Pumpkin Spiced Omega — Rafe is an alpha who writes the romance novels that omega Milo loves to read. A major misunderstanding disrupts their smooth beginning, and only the ghostly help of a beloved nana can bring these stubborn men back together.

Cinnamon Spiced Omega — Christian is an alpha who can’t help but be drawn to the homeless, pregnant omega he literally bumps into in the alley behind his shop. Liam is fighting to survive and afraid to trust another alpha. A little angelic help from the stogie smoking, crusty old man who keeps poking into their lives nudges these two together.

Peppermint Spiced Omega — Omega, please. “Ginger boy” Tom is a flamboyant omega who prefers to speak in the third person… partially because Tom loves drama, but also because Tom has suffered major pain in the past that he prefers not to think about, thank you very much. When he meets Colin, aka his hot alpha daddy, Tom is smitten. A surprise from the past helps heal Tom’s heart, with a little help from a kooky elf named Tofer, a little ginger-haired girl who will steal your heart, and an alpha who is Tom’s perfect match.

Champagne Spiced Omega — Cecil is not your average omega, and he definitely does not have any plans to ever have one of those sticky fingered, screaming little womb rats of his own. Playboy alpha Ian goes home with him for a night, then sticks around to help when Cecil suddenly finds himself the guardian of a newborn infant. Two guys who never thought past a one-night stand discover that falling in love is the ultimate adventure.

Chocolate Spiced Omega — Sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. Kent is happy to see the omega again who slipped out after their one steamy night together… until the little recipe thief starts stealing business away from the candy shop he works for and pulling them across the street to his snooty French bakery. Pierre is a single dad with zero desire for an alpha. Lovers to enemies to… making a family? This book will leave you smiling and cheering for this stubborn couple who need more than little help from Amor, a chubby hippie who may not be quite as simple as he seems.

Bonus Short:

Strawberry Spiced Omega — Dr. Hank and Ezra are like ships passing in the night. They could be great together, but the timing just isn’t right. A surprise pregnancy and a little help from Amor is the only thing that can save this pair who might just find they’re each other’s perfect match.

These books are all intended for 18+ readers only. They contain adults adulting in naughty, knotty ways and occasional potty mouth language that might make a sailor blush.

MMy Thoughts and Review:

Last Fall I got the chance to listen to one of the audiobooks from Susi’s Hollydale Omega Series. It wasn’t the first or even the fifth book in the series, but it was a Susi Hawke and if she said it could be read as a stand-alone, I totally believed her. It was a lovely story and yes, it was a sweet little novella that could be read as a stand-alone, but I found myself curious to know these couples from Hollydale. I was curious about their love stories and why Tom spoke in third-person, or why every shop in town seemed to be an innuendo. **giggle… I wanted to know the meaning behind the haunting “not hauntings,” and why everyone was okay with the “helpers” in the town rather than afraid of them.

“Pumpkin Spiced Omega”
I was able to discover the answers to so many questions, just in the first four books. The first sets up the stage with two childhood friends who have seen each other through quite a bit over the years. One of the hardest being the loss of Milo’s generational family home.

My best friend is a firm believer in everything happening for a reason, even when those things include red croquet balls, and breaking and entering.💕

“Cinnamon Spiced Omega”
Oh, this sweet story left my heart all happy and smiley. It was one of the found families and how our mother loves us enough to bring us together, even when we think we are only good enough for dumpster alley. My second favorite book in the series, because, well… I am team Tom, and his story hasn’t happened yet.

No, this is my second favorite because it is about a young Omega who had to flee his Alpha who was abusing him physically and emotionally. Thank Gaia, he had the fortitude to run. So many people stay in abusive relationships out of fear of the unknown, or out of fear of being caught and hurt more once they are.

This young man, however, has to think not only of himself but also the little one he is carrying. So, run he does…states away, to the small town of Holleydale where he meets a sweet alpha who helps him by getting him off the street, introducing him to people who help him get a job, and he offers him a room so he and his unborn baby don’t have to keep sleeping in dumpster alley.

This one touched me so deeply because it made me think of my parents. My dad and mom met after my bio father left my mom when I was four and my sister was barely a year old. My mom had nothing other than a HS diploma, no work history, and no money. So, she went to Georgia where my granny had moved to. After being there a short while she was invited to a fourth of July cookout by a guy, but when she told him she would need to bring her kids he was reluctant, but said, sure. The night of that cookout, my mom met my dad who simply walked over to her asked if WE would like to dance, and proceeded to takes me in his arms while my mom held my baby sister and the four of us danced to “Benny and the Jets.” Later that night after more dancing, a few adult drinks, and other adult things I wasn’t privy to til years later, my dad told my mom, “he was a poor country boy, who loved a cold beer after work, and he would love her and her babies like they were his for the rest of his life if she would take a chance on him.”

They got married the next month, and are still married to this day. That is why this story is so absolutely wonderful to me. I know this is not typically done in a review, but I was feeling nostalgic…and it’s my review. *😋

The alpha in this story reminded me so much of my dad. His excitement and patience with the pregnancy and everything it entailed. Christian showed he would not only be a great mate for Liam, but he would be an amazing dad for Liam’s baby…their baby. 💗👶💗

“Peppermint Spiced Omega”

There is nothing better than a Tom Collins…just ask him. Tom is notorious for speaking in the third person, but don’t let it fool you into thinking he’s egotistical. Behind all of Tom’s bravado is a beautifully broken and scarred omega.

Tom puts on a brave face and he has such a sweet soul that he hides because of his past. Of all the characters in this collection, Tom is my favorite. He’s like Shrek…he’s an onion with many layers. 😂Only a few see all of them. Those who are blessed enough to get through see the wonder that is the REAL Tom hidden inside.

This held quite a bit of emotion and comedy. Susi is a marvel at always finding the balance so the reader isn’t left too gutted at the end.

*************

“Champagne Spiced Omega”

Who doesn’t love a wedding? Lemme rephrase…who doesn’t love hooking up with strangers you never have to worry about seeing again, at a wedding? Yeah, that’s a better smile! 😁

Cecil is the owner of the thrift and consignment shop in town, and if I lived in Hollydale, he’d be my favorite business owner. I am a sucker for thrifting! He and one of Tom’s exes, Ian, meet over a glass of champagne at Tom and Colin’s wedding reception. The two wax poetic about the pitfalls of babies and the nightmarish entanglement of saying those two words… “I Do!”

Of course, we all know how that’s going to end for the fellas, so I won’t go on about that. What I do want to mention that is important, and honestly, Susi Hawke does this often in her books (I bet her mothering skills are just as amazing), she will take a topic that is hard to discuss and gently wrap it up so you aren’t afraid to open it, dissect it, she’d tears over it, and be moved by it.

**Warning & Spoiler
This novie addresses such brutal abuse on someone pregnant the victim doesn’t survive. Mercifully, the baby does. For anyone who has ever experienced assault, long term abuse, rape, and other horrible traumas, reading about them in romance books can be triggering. Susi writes these events and the after-effects in such a way that they are seen as more hopeful than harmful. As a survivor of such events, I appreciate this, though there is also a side of me who also finds the darker side cathartic from time to time. The psyche is an odd thing…

Champagne Spiced with it’s darker theme still showed the sweet rom-comish feel you love in a Susi Hawke read.

“Chocolate Spiced Omega”

Ahhh… young Kent has come a long way from the clumsy teen who didn’t know his head from a hole in the ground in book one. He was given half a chance and moved from front of house to kitchen and went from cashier to Baker and found his calling as a candy man.

Years later and all grown up he has just returned from a Chocolatiers convention in Vegas and a new bakery has opened right across the street. The owner, his one night stand from Vegas. Ehhh… Weren’t things like that supposed to stay in Vegas? That’s like a universal law.

Now Kent’s universe is turned upside down, strange guys who look like they time hopped from the ’60s and Woodstock are hanging around, solid gold arrows keep turning up in odd places, and Kent has never both hated and longed for a man as much as he does the baker, Pierre in his life.

This one is a fun wild food fighting sticky mess, of a story. Settle in as more pieces of Hollydale slide into place, and the found family grows bigger. Oh…Beware of flying solid gold arrows!

💗💗Perfect for VD day💗💗 😂😂😂😂😂😂

***Bonus Short Story***

“Strawberry Spiced Omega”

This was a very short and sweet tale of two friends with benefits who had been together for a while. One moves away, but not before leaving behind a small gift he isn’t aware of. As time passes the two men realize just how much they miss each other.

With the help of a special friend from Chocolate Spiced, the two are made to talk. I will let you read and discover what happens from there.

This was a truly sweet short added to the Hollydale Universe.

I loved this whole series bundle. It is filled with friends, family, tragedy, truth, some paranormal, some silliness, and all the love you come to expect from a Susi Hawke book.

Drew Bacca was precious as he gave spirit to the characters. When he sang, in Chocolate Spiced, I may have fallen in love, a smidge.😍
